David Craig’s success is explained by the way he approaches each new artistic challenge. His series of paintings commemorating Military History is a prime example of his approach to detail and realism.
Artist David Craig, as a young person growing up in Ottawa Ontario, developed his keen fascination with the depiction of Canadian history. He has also created a series of paintings commemorating Canada’s contribution during World War II.
People often point to his paintings and say "I know that guy” when in reality it’s a face that came out of his imagination.
David has painted a variety of subjects from thoroughbred racehorses to celebrities. He has also designed several coins for the Royal Canadian Mint.
David’s success is best explained by the way he approaches each new artistic challenge “I strive to create a special mood in my work, one that is thought provoking and draws the viewer into the picture”.
